At Xellia, we are highly committed to operating in a sustainable way and reducing our carbon footprint.
We have calculated the carbon footprints for all the Active Pharmacuetical Ingredients (APIs) products we produce at our Budapest, Copenhagen and Taizhou sites. This calculation includes the use of electricity, steam, gas, air and water, in our manufacturing operations, labs and other offices.
With this calculation as our baseline, we believe that everyone in the organization has an opportunity to positively impact the environment by reducing our carbon footprint. This may be through the application of process improvements and new technology, through the identification and rectification of leaks/wastage, or simply in becoming more disciplined in daily activities.
